Underroot is made by Swavvy AB (Sweden). This notice is short because the game collects very little.

The game

• Underroot stores your saved progress and some gameplay statistics (used to balance and improve the game) locally on your device or in your web browser.
• The game does not automatically send any of this data anywhere. There is no account, no login, and no built-in network connection.
• Any player name you enter is kept in our local diagnostics only as a one-way hash, never as readable text.
• You may choose to export your saved game or telemetry and send it to us voluntarily. If you do, you decide what to share.

The website and store

• Our website (underroot.se and its subdomains) is hosted on Vercel, and the game is distributed through itch.io. As with any website and store, these platforms process standard technical data — such as your IP address and basic request logs — to deliver the page and protect the service. That data is handled under Vercel's and itch.io's own privacy policies.
• We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies on our site.

Your rights

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have rights under the GDPR regarding your personal data. Because the game itself holds no personal data about you on our servers (we operate none), most such requests will concern the platforms named above, and we are happy to help you direct them.
